Anime Studio Debut is a powerful piece of software that allows you to create 2D cartoon characters which you can bring to life in creative cartoon videos.
You can get to work by opening a new project from the main menu and by importing the characters you will work with in your video. The application offers a number of characters by default which you can redesign according to your own taste. Therefore, before actually importing characters to the viewing screen, you will have to define their appearance. By accessing the "Character wizard" section, you can easily resize every part of their body, as well as customize their clothes and movements. Additionally, the program offers you the opportunity to import scanned images or drawings, which you can use to create your own characters.

After you have finished defining your characters, you will have to bring them on the viewing screen, which will automatically transform them into layers. Anime Studio Debut allows you to edit these layers in a great number of ways. Moreover, the application enables you to apply various movement effects to the character in order to create realistic animations.

To create the environment in which the characters will play their roles you will have to manipulate the drawing tools and the "Style" panel, or you can import default scenes that you can modify afterwards.

After you have created a scene with layers, you will be able to watch it by clicking the Play/Stop key displayed underneath the viewing screen.

All in all, the application is suited for users who wish to explore their creativity and bring their characters to life in animated scenes. It can be a good tool for the creation of animated characters or even full cartoons.
